It is my wish to provide my patrons with the finest products and shopping experience possible. Your feedback is highly valued; you may e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org. Every comment, suggestion, and product idea is important to me.
YOU ARE MY PATRON
Please know that, notwithstanding the detailed terms below, you are very valuable to me as a patron and I will do everything I can to make sure you are thrilled with each acquisition and catered to while arranging them. My goal is to retain you as a longtime patron and hear from your friends, not to score a single easy sale never to transact business again.

CARING FOR YOUR BOXES
Oriboxi™ Unique Treasure Boxes are both delicate and sturdy. Handled carefully, they often last over a decade even when used, and, when displayed as art, indefinitely. However, as 'paper only' with no adhesives, additional structural elements, or protective coating, they are susceptible to crushing, moisture, and frequent handling. I have recently observed that certain papers may repel or absorb a drop or two of water, and some will instantly disintegrate upon contact. It depends on the paper, so feel free to ask. Treat them like the treasures they are, and handle them as you would fine china, and you will be fine.
All sales are final, no exceptions, due to the nature of my custom handcrafted work and the delicate materials I use.
Orders may only be cancelled if I am contacted before cutting, folding, and paper procurement has begun (or, for ready-made items, before the order is packaged for shipping). It is the customer's responsibility to request and confirm a cancellation (your cancellation is not confirmed until you hear from me).
In the event of a cancellation, a transaction fee for packing and the reversal of online payments may apply. Shipments returned unopened or marked "refused" are also non-refundable, but can be reshipped back to you upon payment of additional shipping costs.
PATTERNS AND COLORS
Because of the random interplay resulting from cutting, folding, and assembly, the elements of paper designs and patterns in your boxes are likely to appear different than the example featured in the photo, especially for patterns with a larger repeat. For example, a specific leaf or flower may appear on the lid of a box in a photo, but may appear in a different position, or not at all, on your box. Be assured, however, that the paper design you select will be the very same design used in your box, and that I only ship boxes that are truly beautiful and which are representative of the collections displayed online. If you would like to see a snapshot of your particular order before it ships, so that you may see the interplay of patterns, let me know either before you order (by e-mailing email@example.com) or in the notes of your order. I can sometimes photograph several boxes and offer you a choice, depending on what is in stock.
I select all materials personally from offerings spanning thousands of the world's most beautiful decorative and art papers of the highest quality. I have done my best to accurately represent their rich colors and textures on my site, with photos of finished boxes and paper samples. Dye lots may vary, especially with handmade papers. Rest assured, you can color-coordinate your collections with confidence.
Dimensions stated in each product description are accurate within 1/16". Width denotes the span of the outside of the lid (which is slightly wider than the base) from side to side (not corner to corner, which is longer). Height denotes the measurement of the box at rest on a hard flat surface, from the surface itself to the top flat surface of the box, and does not include any folding embellishments (such as flowers) which may appear on the top of the box.
Since you may want to place a certain gift or other item into a particular origami box, or place my boxes in containers of your own, I am very happy if you ask to send you inside-the-box measurements (or outside corner-to-corner) for any product listed, at no charge. These measurements will, again, be accurate within 1/16" and will measure a] inside width from side to side; b] inside width from corner to corner; c] inside height from the bottom of the base to the top inside edge of the base; and d] total height including folding embellishments.
Precision in cutting and folding is a hallmark of Oriboxi™ boxes. Depending on the paper used, box dimensions vary due to variances in paper lots, paper thickness, and the nature of handmade origami.
It is my pleasure to create custom sizes and shapes for your needs using any available paper, from my repertoire of designs. Prices will vary by size, difficulty (sometimes smaller is more difficult), rarity of the paper, procurement costs, and quantity of boxes desired. Please note that for larger boxes intended for frequent use (rather than artistic display only), heavier paper is more suitable to achieve stability of construction. I will make sure you are well informed about the particulars of your project, so you can order with confidence.
Weddings are wonderful opportunities to express yourself by selecting special papers, colors, designs, and embellishments to reflect your event and your sentiments. I can work with you, your wedding coordinator, your invitation designer, and even your caterer to come up with fantastic ideas for your bride, groom, bridesmaids and groomsmen, parents, wedding guests and even place-settings. The only risk to you is that sometimes these little treasures have been known to cause a sensation, upstaging the event by attracting a lot of attention!
At present, due to my busy schedule, an advance consultation fee of $50 is required before any discussion of custom work can take place. The entire fee will be deducted from the price of your final invoice, so once you do in fact place an order, the consultation is effectively free. If you wish to proceed, contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org with a proposed time to meet or speak by phone, and I will send you an electronic invoice confirming our appointment. We will proceed once the invoice is paid.
Ground shipping is provided at no additional charge for all regularly priced orders of $60.00 or more (not for sales events, coupon codes, or discounted orders). For orders less than $60.00, and all discounted orders, a shipping and handling fee will be added. If you desire expedited shipping, package tracking, or insurance, contact me at the time of the order and I will send you a separate electronic invoice for the additional charges; this invoice must be paid before your order ships.
Products are packaged in moisture- and crush-resistant packaging. Again, insurance against damages is available on all orders.
