-- THE HALLMARKS OF ORIBOXI™ TREASURE BOXES --

BEAUTY
First and foremost, exceptional beauty is the signature of Oriboxi™ treasure boxes. "I have crossed oceans and time" to find the most lovely papers in the world, which I gather and fold with the utmost care, and then present to you. I review the inventory of the world's best retailers and wholesalers of decorative paper.

With a careful and experienced eye, I evaluate the thousands of paper choices for their suitability in a beautiful, useful and collectible box. The final choices are then purchased in small quantities, tested, and combined to make unique collections that make your boxes coordinate splendidly. No box makes it into my collections that I am not completely delighted with.

HANDMADE WITH PRECISION
I perform all measuring, cutting, folding and assembly by hand. Care, time, and attention are given to ensure that each cut is precise, every fold clean and true, and each box tightly and snugly assembled for a crisp effect. Compare my boxes with others, and you'll see a clear difference in craftsmanship.

GENEROUS USE OF PAPER
Many sellers of origami boxes use only two squares of paper per box (one for the base, one for the lid), resulting in a flimsy product. I use 8 to 12 squares per box (4 to 6 for both the base and lid). The final product is sturdy and surprisingly utilitarian, requiring no glue or other adhesives. And I spare no expense to buy the most stunning paper on the market.

TRUE COLLECTIONS
The interplay of colors and designs in each collection are what make these boxes truly collectible. The interlocking and weaving of folds and patterns creates a spectacular effect. Two or more patterns can be combined in one box, so feel free to work with me to design your own truly one-of-a-kind collections.

GIFTS THAT ARE UNIQUE AND MEANINGFUL
You will be gratified at the reaction from those who receive these delightful treasures. When people see my boxes, they just "get it." Oriboxi™ communicates love, care, and delight; to receive something so new and beautiful, so unique, is a wonderful thing. You will experience for yourself that "it is better to give than to receive."

A COMPLETE GIFT
No gift wrap is required! Embellishments such as boxes or ribbon are unnecessary. Each box is both a gift and a wrapping, a vessel and a decoration. But don't forget to fill it with delicious treats or jewelry.

THE WORK OF ARTISANS
Many artisans contribute to each Oriboxi™ gift. The paper patterns are designed by the best artists in the industry. The colors are rich and subtle, made of the finest dyes. The printing is superb, combining old world with centuries-old mills, and the latest innovations. The paper is of the highest quality, always heavy, never flimsy, and often made by hand.

FUNCTIONAL AND LASTING
Paper has special physical properties well suited to daily use over time. Oriboxi™ are both delicate and strong. As your collection grows, you will find more and more practical uses for Oriboxi™ around your home. Jewelry, watches, and loose items can be stored or displayed on your vanity. Dress up your desk and store paper clips, push pins, stamps, and business cards. At dinner and parties, your guests will be delighted to find them at their place settings, filled with nuts or other savories. Men will find them very handy atop their bureaus to store cuff links, collar stays, and loose buttons.

Years ago, I gave a box to my paper supplier in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Nearly a decade later, on a return visit, I recognized it sitting behind the counter. It was being used to store razor blades, and it was still in perfect condition!

-- ABOUT PAUL KLENK, ORIGAMI ARTIST AND DESIGNER --

I first made my boxes one Christmas in Minneapolis, filling them with gingerbread from my mother's and her mother's recipe. These gifts were a hit with family, friends, and coworkers; my boxes have continued to delight them since. Today New York City is home to my origami studio, and I now make these unique treasures available to you.
